I BELIEVE:
Every household deserves respect and financial stability.
To achieve this, I’ll fight for policies that uplift workers and support fair economic practices:

Living Wage: Delaware needs a minimum wage that adjusts with inflation and respects hard work.

Affordable Housing: Housing should be accessible for all, with protections for renters.

Tax Fairness: Our tax system must be fair, ensuring the wealthiest contribute their share.

Comprehensive Support Services: Delaware’s most vulnerable populations need comprehensive solutions that include mental physical and mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and job training.

Healthcare as a Human Right: Until we have universal, single-payer healthcare at the federal level, Delaware must do everything it can to make quality healthcare available for its citizens and institute a Medicaid public buy-in option.
We must build affordable, sustainable communities.
To do this, we need policies that ensure security and prosperity for all:

Increase Investment: Boost Delaware’s funding to make housing affordable and accessible for working families.

Financial Education for Homeownership: Expand resources to equip residents with financial knowledge, supporting sustainable homeownership.

Champion Diverse Housing Options: Develop a range of housing choices to meet our community’s diverse needs, from affordable rentals to attainable homeownership.

Protect Renters from Predatory Practices: We need to expand the rights of renters, ensure they are respected, and stabilize rent.
Every child deserves a bright future.
Here’s how we can create opportunities for every child to thrive:

Universal Childcare: Publicly funded childcare and pre-K help working families thrive.

Paid Family Leave: Every parent should be able to care for family without losing income.

Support Childcare Workers: Fair wages and benefits for childcare providers strengthen our communities.

Employer Childcare Options: Family-friendly workplaces should be incentivized.

Leverage Affordable Education: Expand SEED Scholarship Program for all who pursue higher education in Delaware.

Engage Childcare Providers: Include provider perspectives in decisions that impact their operations and real-world needs.
Our criminal justice system needs to focus on rehabilitation first.
True justice allows individuals to be redeemed and supported in their journey toward becoming productive members of their communities so I will work to:

Repeal LEOBOR: LEOBOR has hampered efforts for criminal justice equality, and obfuscated police oversight.

End Qualified Immunity: Perpetrators of police brutality must be held accountable and face consequences commensurate to their abuses of power

Simplify Post-Conviction Proceedings: Our state courts are not infallible. Delaware’s legislature must work to make post-conviction proceedings free, fair, and as simple as they possibly can be

Decriminalize Poverty: We must remove fees from the justice system and ensure all fines are fair.

Abolish Disenfranchisement as a Punishment: Voting is a fundamental right that should not be taken away from Delawareans for any reason.
We must protect our environment and fight climate change.
Delaware can lead on environmental issues with these critical actions:

Climate Initiatives: Delaware must advocate for strong environmental standards.
